Our Systems

Working with EOS & AMCM, we have two fantastic AM systems available for use at our centre. Coupled with other systems that facilitate AM manufacturing.

AMCM M290 FLX

  • Compatible with legacy EOS M 290 (400 W) process for 85 μm spot process parameter sets (same focus, beam quality, etc.) (1)
  • Up to 3x higher productivity with 316L steel and aluminum (compared to standard 400 W process)
  • Excellent part properties (e.g. Cu density, electrical conductivity)
  • Process gas cooling for constant process conditions
  • Machine design e.g., gas flow or thermal management adapted to the higher laser power
  • Single or dual laser setup
  • Full field overlap possible with the AMCM M 290-2 FLX (85 μm spot)
  • With FDR (fine detail resolution):
    • For demanding applications with focus down to 55 μm
    • Open software for process optimization
    • High productivity due to dual laser setup

EOS M 290 Series

Mid-Size System with a Wide Range of Materials

As the industry standard for qualified 3D printed metal parts, our mid-sized and multi-functional EOS M 290 Series offers the most extensive materials portfolio in the market. With a powerful fiber laser for excellent detail resolution, the M 290 Series is a robust and well-established system that can produce complex builds with consistent properties for a wide variety of applications. In addition to the EOS Single Field Laser Machine, we also offer a Dual-Laser variant by AMCM.

Sodick VN400Q

Mid-Size Wire EDM with Advanced Precision and Productivity

A versatile, mid-size solution for high-precision wire-cut EDM applications, the Sodick VN400Q is engineered to deliver exceptional accuracy, speed, and long-term stability across a wide range of machining requirements. It combines a compact footprint with robust performance, making it ideal for precision components and complex geometries that demand consistent micron-level accuracy.

The VN400Q employs high-speed, wear-free linear motor drives on all axes, eliminating backlash and mechanical loss, while the motion controller provides ultra-fast response and precise spark-gap control. Absolute linear glass scales further enhance positional accuracy and reduce setup time, ensuring reliable, repeatable machining even during long unmanned runs. The system incorporates fine ceramic components into critical structures, minimising thermal distortion and ageing effects.

With practical features triple filtration system, advanced automatic wire threading, and energy-saving dielectric control. The VN400Q is a well-balanced,  wire EDM system for accuracy, efficiency, and dependable performance.
