National Foundry Training Centre
The National Foundry Training Centre in Tipton is a specialist hub dedicated to developing skills in casting, foundry practice, and wider manufacturing technologies. As part of the Elite Centre for Manufacturing Skills (ECMS), the facility brings together advanced equipment, expert-led training, and hands‑on learning environments designed to support the future of the UK’s metals and manufacturing industries.
Alongside its state‑of‑the‑art foundry machinery and practical training spaces, the centre also offers a selection of rooms available for hire. These rooms vary in size and can support a range of activities, from technical training sessions and workshops to meetings and small‑scale events. For larger events, additional capacity is available at our Springfield Hub, which can accommodate up to 180 visitors.
