Success for the industry!

Great success for the first 'Concept to Casting' cohort.

The Elite Centre of Manufacturing Skills first intake of the highly successful ‘Concept to Casting’ course has ended.  resulting in very positive feedback from our two learners.

Our participants from WearTech in Port Talbot and Cubra Castings based in West Bromwich, were taught all manner of techniques and foundry principles instructed by our dedicated foundry specialists.

Although the course itself is a relatively short duration – only three days per module – the content is crammed with valuable information that the learners will be able to use in their working life.

The feedback from the participants was very positive and mostly asking for the modules to be longer, as they thoroughly enjoyed the practical sessions.

We are now looking at recruiting for Intake two, as the maximum participants is restricted to six, places are at a premium.
